GOP back to ‘impeachment,’ ‘jail time’ for Obama

Just a waste of time. They can impeach him. Like Clinton, it wouldn't get him out of office so why bother?

Against an anti American President....how ironic.

Nearly 66 million people voted for the anti-American President over the anti-Jesus wannabe.

Perhaps the folks who voted for the anti-American President love Jesus more than the ones who supported the anti-Jesus candidate.

Glad to shed some light on how silly YOUR comment reads. Must be "anti-American" now to be a Democrat.

The GOP has a majority in each house in Congress and yet they simply continue the obstructionist policies and bring up nothing new and nothing to help the country. They have no new ideas. They have no ideas except saying, "NO"

Pretty much. And any time anyone does anything to potentially help someone other than big business, they start screaming unConstitutional or just NO.

Just another reason why the GOP won't be winning another Presidential election anytime soon.

The party is viewed as just mean and uncaring about anyone who doesn't agree with its political philosophies.

The House overwhelmingly passed a bill to repeal and replace the zero's "ruin the American health care system" debacle.

You may not agree with what they are doing, but they are very busy. They got some bozos to be sure, but they also have Trey Gowdy.

Investigating Benghazi. Investigating the IRS.

And a majority party gets to set the agenda, not obstruct it.

Every president in my lifetime should be in jail. Except maybe Ford & Carter.

They are wasting time to make yall think they are doing something. The bill isn't going anywhere and they knew that before they started.

Investigating Benghazi.

Nothing but a partisan attempt at this point to go after Hillary Clinton in hopes that it will stain her next run at the White House. It won't. And the GOP will again look stupid and to be just wasting time.

Investigating the IRS.

For what? Waste of time. Defund them other than the Affordable Care Act and the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act and call it a day.

And a majority party gets to set the agenda, not obstruct it.

The President gets to set an agenda too. That's why any bill that attempts to repeal the ACA will get a big VETO stamp of disapproval.

Every president in my lifetime should be in jail. Except maybe Ford & Carter.

Carter should be jailed just on principle.

I'm betting it will gather a lot of attention in the Senate.

I want you to pick some lottery numbers for me, oh prognosticator of politics, where all but you spend too much time.

You said you wrote in Mike Huckabee. Where do you suppose he sits, on these ?

And ail go for an override vote. And the president is at the mercy of congress, should they get a backbone.

Carter should be jailed just on principle.
I can't think of any crimes he did, but that sweater-clad "malaise" speech he did sure irked me.

If Obamacare were to be done away with where would that leave you in medical insurance? There would be chaos as the GOP has only offered to kill Obamacare, but has proposed nothing to replace it. So we can assume you would have no medical care until a new policy was hammered out.

Guess you have not thought about how such GOP action would impace you and your wife ... or anyone else.

I'm on the V.A..

And they have a bill to replace it. You are too ignorant to discuss this with, C.T.Boy.

Yeah, my wife, who's rates just went up over 300%, and there's no way we can afford it. And that was before the end of the year, so don't blame the GOP. And thanx for caring, too.

Here’s how the GOP would repeal and replace Obamacare
February 4, 2015
http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs...w-the-gop-would-repeal-and-replace-obamacare/

Key Senate Republicans Offer Their Plan To Replace Obamacare
January 27, 2014
http://www.npr.org/blogs/health/201...blicans-offer-their-plan-to-replace-obamacare

I do not find the following paragraph from the article you referenced suggesting there is a comprehensive, agreed upon within the GOP on what to do if the court rules against Obamacare.

A ruling against the Obama administration would result in an estimated 8.2 million people losing health insurance, according to Robert Wood Johnson Foundation projections. But there is division among Republican lawmakers whether they should step in to rescue the Affordable Care Act if the insurance subsidies are overturned.

............................

The GOP plan outlined by congressional aides Wednesday is similar to one that the senators offered last year, which the GOP never united around.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs...w-the-gop-would-repeal-and-replace-obamacare/

8.5 million without insurance and no guidelines on what those with insurance will have, if anything. No one's medical insurance will be worth a wooden nickle if there is nothing to take the place of Obamacare. It is not simply going back instantly as that is impossible. No one, you, me, the government nor insurance companies will know what to do.

Read the entire article and you see there is no general agreement of waht do do. That is not at all encouraging.

Not enough to get rid of it.

1, 2, 3, 4,5 Powerball:15

You said you wrote in Mike Huckabee. Where do you suppose he sits, on these ?

Oh I'm sure he's against them. That's one of the reasons I wrote him in. I just don't think it's going away in the manner that the GOP is currently attacking it. They want a GOP President in the next century so they have to not cut off their nose to spite their face.

And ail go for an override vote. And the president is at the mercy of congress, should they get a backbone.

247 is a long way from the 291 needed in the House , and 54 is a long way from the 67 needed in the Senate. An override essentially is a fantasy at this point.

I can't think of any crimes he did, but that sweater-clad "malaise" speech he did sure irked me.

He needs to be arrested for being worse when he got out of office than he was while he was there.

Really ? Most feel the opposite way. I served in the Navy under him, his last year and a half. I don't think he was a good president, but he seems like a nice enough guy since….I just wish he'd keep his mouth closed.

And my point was never would it pass or not.
