Actually, considering this is a Democrat from Cynthia McKinney's district...it's entirely likely he genuinely believes this.

This guy probably has two brains...one's lost, and the other's out looking for it.

Or, more accurately, this feller is depriving a village somewhere of its idiot.

That's your problem. Instead of having rational political negotiations, the Republicans just want to stop everything, say no and respond with hate.

    That is sad!

Of course, here in mainland America, the American worker is going the way of the dinosaur, thanks to corporate and individual greed!

    AND, may I add:
    1 Unions
    2 Over-regulation
    3 Stifling taxes
4 Feds deciding who can be a company's CEO
5 Massive entitlement programs that encourage laziness
6 An obvious attempt of this administration to bankrupt the U.S. of A. ASAP
7 ETC ETC ETC AD-INFINITUM; depending on how detailed you choose to list the anti-business governing of government!!!!!

    As dumb as it sounds.......

When you think about it and the way people latch on and repeat this.....

It's a brillant way to get early attention.
Excuses will be made and explanations as well as ridicule .......but, in the end, many people will forget this idiocy for the humor.... and well remember his face and name.
Say something which sounds too stupid to be said...... and then follow through with his own agenda and point making in areas he wants to focus on for those in his own party..... global warming and environmentalism....

I agree it sounds so stupid.... and he's on what important committees?
Also a big proponent of HC bill.... Scary!

    OK, I'll bite:

    Define "Corporate greed."

How much money should these top dogs be allowed to make? ON what do you base that number?

If they make more, how should the government confiscate the "overage?"

And why should the government be involved in limiting salaries? Or should they?

Do you think we all should make the same amount?

What happens when we dis-incentivize hard work and acheivment? When we demonize those with wealth....who's going to invest? Who's going to hire people?

Is greed out there in our culture? Certainly. But wealth envy is not at all good, and it creates a myriad of other difficulties.

    Doesn't anyone get this......

This stunt in 'stupidity' is a ruse to get free publicity.....

And it worked and he's getting it.

It may also be a lightening rod for those who like to stereotype minorities.....
Read the inflammatory comments on the utube site..... Bingo...

The thing is.... all comments are made annoymously or by assumed names.
ANYONE can 'comment' and use the 'n' word..... even his strongest supporters...
remember its annoymous... and whoever uses these vulgarities... does so because they are annoymous and are cowards and promote hate.

    OK, after watching it again...

    I've decided what I think.

    He's drunk. Seriously.

    His words are slurred.

It's not Guam that's "tipping over."

    Agreed.

While I disagree with the Congressman's contention I am quite certain that he was not talking about a physical capsizing.

Sorry...I disagree. I believe that he was in some way impaired. His speech sounds slurred to me.

Now...whether this was legit medical, illicit drugs, legal drugs, or side effects of meds he takes...I'm unsure. But I do think he wasn't all there.
