    Yes but technology could be the solution to certain weapondry, ie install a chip into the (AR15) that monitors location. If the owner gets to a location like the perimeter of a school, the gun turns off.

    Technology is easily hacked so that is not the answer. The Dems in Broward County in conjunction with Ob@ma, as you know, initiated a program of not arresting people like Martin and Cruz as a type of affirmative action. If the Sherrif had done his job, the law would have prevented Cruz from buying a gun. Also, the lazy FBI did not do their job.

    We need to seek advice from Israel on how to secure our schools, as Israel ended school shootings. We need to be more cautious with fatherless boys. We do not want to be like Europeans with widespread lawlessness and no personal rights to self-defense.

    It could, but this would also be viewed as a violation of one's rights (the government tracking law abiding citizens).

    There are guns that people own for the sake of owning them (their rights and desires). At some point it gets childish. People will object to restrictions on what is called "assault rifles" because they are simply "hunting rifles" that look different (that "look scary"). If that is the only difference then their objection is simply "I like how it looks, I want one, I have the right...." it gets childish. (And the AR 15 style rifles that my friends own....and that I'd like to have....are a bit more than just hunting rifles).

    So if there is an ongoing knife attack with a mad man slashing the throats of children the chip should turn the defender's AR off so the killer can continue slashing throats?
