OK, gun control advocates, quiz time: How effective was the school "gun-free zone"?Fox News: 20 wounded in multiple stabbings at Pennsylvania high school
Twenty people, including 19 students, were wounded — four seriously — during a stabbing spree early Wednesday at a high school near Pittsburgh and a 16-year-old male student is in custody, authorities say.
As word of the incident spread and children streamed out of the school, parents told FoxNews.com were shocked by the attack.
“Nobody’s ever prepared for something like that as a parent,” Matt Provenzo, who had dropped his son, Mark, off at Franklin Regional High School moments after the stabbings, told FoxNews.com. "As he got out of the car, you could see students exiting the building and that the fire alarm was pulled … There were a few students who were visibly upset."

Oh, and there's this, too:
Wouldn't want to attempt to make a judgment from 1,300 miles away, but he sounds like the kind of kid who would have brought a gun to school, once upon a time. But now they've got metal detectors, School Resource Officers, cameras, etc. So, instead, he brought a knife. And gun control advocates have always claimed "that wouldn't happen."Alicia Graham characterized the 16-year-old suspect as a "small, skinny" classmate who didn't talk much. She didn't know him personally, but has acquaintances who do, she said.
