Ever notice that all these massacres always seem to take place on the suburbs? They don't happen in the inner-cities. It's because the bad guys know that people are packing.

Add Switzerland to the list. Their constitution includes a provision much like ours with regards to a militia. Every adult male (with some exceptions) is required to own a firearm and to be trained in its usage.
