Anonymous. I had forgotten about that hate group.

After their war on epilectics I'm surprised you would support them. I don't like folks who prey on the weak.

I realize you have trouble understanding much, but some posts are for information and do not necessarily support the group or ideas expressed in the post.

Your illogical reply is like saying you will not be a Christian because some folk who claim to be Christian are evil ... i.e. Jim Jones, etc.

I don't think terrorism is the best way to deal with hatred. It just seems hypocritical.

Jim Jones denied the risen savior. Perhaps you are the one who can't read. Jim Jones was one of you communists that claimed HE was God and attempted to prove it by creating his own heaven on Earth. His regime ended the way most failed communist experiments do.

Anonymous hackers purposefully targeted epileptics. Why would you want them to get any attention ? Why would I care to watch anything from them. Why are you advertising for them ? Have you ever seen a Grand-Mal seizure ? I see them all the time. Not funny.

    Do a little homework sometimes

And no, No, don't give me that "info" garbage.

As I thought, you do not understand. Nothing new in your non-understanding and blowing of smoke.

And the right-wing KKK, Whities, etc. violated their permit. The permit limited them to a park. It did not give them permission to march on the church and it did not give them legal authority to trespass on the UVA campus. So don't give me the garbage on how the Whities did everything lawfully.

I would say treating the Huffington post as anything other than a tabloid is illogical.

Oh, and I forgot to add their permit was for Saturday. The incident I talked about above was on Friday ... a clear violation of the permit. The man who was injured is a good friend of two of my good friends who live very close to the UVA campus and are friends of the injured man.

Actually, I should have left this thread when you said Jim Jones ever claimed to be Christian. You obviously have no idea what you are talking about.

As a San Franciscan who lived through the People's Temple era, I can say yes he did, at least at the first when he was located here in the City. Once he moved to Jonestown, that is a different matter.

Well I would like to see that. In the very early '70s he was denying any existence of what he called the "sky God".

He was an ordained minister from the very ecumenical "Disciples of Christ". His church was never a cristian church. It was a socialist group with Christian and other elements tossed in.

Folks, to outsiders, Jim Jones portrayed himself as just another "progressive" clergyman. To those outside his congregation, he was a white Cecil Williams. I'm not trying to defend him. He and the votes his congregation was able to turn out ruined San Francisco politics. And as for the People's Temple, he ordered the murder of my Congressman and his aide (who survived) my current congresswoman.
