Harris vs Trump Presidential Debate

I only caught clips (had a job going on).

Looks like both set a record for lying and it was more of attacking one another than anything of substance....but that's only from the clips I watched.

Thanks for posting. I'll check it out tonight.

It was terrible on both sides.

Why so many people thought we would learn something - I don't know. Both sides are claiming moral and legitimate victories and that boggles my mind.

Harris = She was rude, 100% formulaic, and trained as a pit bull [my apologies to pit bills] to draw blood. She was not truthful in her attacks and could have cared less about encouraging the American people.

Trump = He took the bait - hook, line, and sinker - and missed opportunities to put her in the light of the truth.

It was a ridiculous thing to watch.

My issue is both Trump and Harris lied.

I believe that the most basic form of voter fraud is lying to trick people out of their vote.

Harris did better than expected. Trump did as expected.

Will it change anyone’s minds? Doubtful, but we will see.

Harris made several emotional appeals to women that many are claiming was well done.

I truly hope that is the only debate for those two.

peace to you

They should have opened with a voice over that said, "Presidential Debate, Episode 2. In tonight's episode, the part of the old man, instead of being played by Joe Biden as in Episode 1, will be played by Donald Trump."

What are your thoughts on Harris becoming President if she wins?

I am supporting Vice President Harris, even though philosophy-of-government wise I am a minarchist classical liberal libertarian.

Why?

Because I am also opposed to the Big Government, National Conservatism of Donald Trump and his followers, as embodied by Project 2025. Kevin Roberts wrote a book to promote it and JD Vance wrote the foreword for it. It was pulled from publication after the details of Project 2025 started being exposed to the public.

Patrick Henry long ago warned that the Constitution would lead to the office of the president becoming a king. It has pretty much become that during the 21st Century as the Republicans and Democrats in the Congress have ceded more and more power to the executive branch. Project 2025 would finish the job of making the office of president into a king.

In a Kamala Harris presidency, I will still be able to advocate for the more limited government policies I want. In a Trump-led Project 2025 “kingship”, that ability will be decimated.

I hope that if Trump is defeated on November 5, that the Freedom Conservatives(FreeCons) will be able to wrest control of the Republican Party from the National Conservatives(NatCons) in 2028 and return the GOP to being the party of Reagan as it was in 1980, instead of being the party of Trump.

Excellent debate analysis in a one minute video.

It is not the talking heads that will decide this election but the Independent voters. They respond to substance. Trump answers the questions that hit the pocketbook, life. Harris is all about do not believe what I actually did but what my handlers tell you I am going to do.

The Independent voters do not believe her.

So you will vote for her?

I have noticed that the book has now been scheduled to be published on November 12.

Your opinion is incorrect. Kamala Harris will try to rule as a king by use of executive orders if Democrats are unable to pass her socialistic policies. You will not be more able to advocate for more limited government policies under Harris.

Do you consider the fact that Kamala Harris would appoint leftist or liberal judges who would undermine Second Amendment rights and undermine religious liberty?

Do you consider that Kamala Harris would follow left-wing think-tank policy manuals that would call for greater government control not more limit government?
