Have you ever seen a demon or an angel? Have you told anyone about your experience, or were you afraid to because you would be ridiculed or your experience would not be believed?

PS: On this poll, viewers will not be able to see how you voted.....

Couldn't the only correct answer be "I'm not sure", as Scripture tells us that we unknowingly could be entertaining angels?

Ahhh! Do people count? There are really demonic people out there and angelic, as well. If we take "angel" to mean good.

Our former pastor's nephew, when he was 3 yrs. old, was sitting on the bumper of their van. The van drove away without anyone realizing that he was there. They travelled about 3 miles to their destination and then found the boy still on the bumper.
When questioned the boy replied that a man came and held him on the trip. There was no "man" around anywhere to be seen or heard from!!

I've heard a demon. I mentioned it to a pastor the same week it happened, expecting him to think I was crazy. His response was, "I'm not surprised. I know of a lot of demonic activity going on in that apartment complex."

I don't understand. I can't see how anyone voted on my poll. I can see the results overall but not how each one voted.

Demons and angels reside in the spirit world. The Spirit world is invisible to us.

I didn't vote because I haven't seen an angel, as in a spiritual being, but my wife, and my son (now in the US Air Force) did.
    This was in the Philippines.
I was away from home at the time, and life being hard and all, could barely send my family money.
Our son was aboutsix or seven years old at the time.
My wife had this habit of getting up around midnight and praying, and since the city they were staying in South of Manila always had brown outs midnight was mostly really pitch black.
They had (if they had the money) a small gas lamp.
    That time they didn't.
This city was near where the Muslim rebels often camped or passed by, and every now and then there would be the rakatakatak of machine gun fire.
    It was pretty scary.
This night, as usual, my wife sat up, and started to pray.
When she opened her eyes, she clearly saw this tall figure (head nearly touching the ceiling which was about ten feet from the floor), in a white, flowing robe, with a red sash across the chest, and a red waistband with a long sword, standing just outside their mosquito net (my entire family of 2 daughters, son, and wife, slept in one mat under one net).
She said she didn't feel frightened,
    Just, at peace.
She lay down, went to sleep.
The next morning, my son, at breakfast, told her he saw Jesus, and described the same apparition or vision my wife saw, to the last detail.
I've never seen an angel, but if that was an angel from the Lord, then I am thankful to Him for watching over my family when I wasn't around.

I have a few accounts of strange things in both groups. Before I was saved I attributed most of the bad to ghosts now I would say it was demonic or imagination. Since being saved, and right before I was saved, there have been a few events that I could say were angelic. But, then again, I don't know for sure. Maybe I was reading too much into the event? I don't know. Do I tell people about these things? Generally, no.

O, but I will say this: If you don't believe in hauntings or haunted houses/locations you have closed your eyes to some dark realities of living in a fallen world.

One of my former youth, Rusty Greer, played in the major league a few years back as a center fielder.

He played for.....(drum roll)......the California Angels.

Ohhhhh....you mean THOSE angels? Well then....

I have seen both on differeing occassions.Even dealt with the demon possed. But I don't go around telling everyone.
I have not seen them (A&D) as in eye to eye (or in living color) but distint and visible outlines with a commanding or forboding presense.

My younger brother fell from our second story at about 3 or 4 years old. We had an opening so you can look down into the dinning room which spanned the entire room below. (kinda like a loft) Anyway the person watching him wasn't watching him very well and he fell missing the table and chairs by inches and broke his arm. When my mom got to the doctors where they were casting it up, he told mom that 2 men came out from under the table and made him miss the table and chairs. He said they moved me so I didn't hit my head on them. (table and chairs)

Judging from where he fell he should have landed squarely on the either the corner of the chair or the sharp edge of the table but where he landed was almost directly under the walkway he was on.

Personally, I have no clue. But Scripture speaks of 'entertaining angels unaware', and I would also presume one could see one who is demon posessed, without specifically knowing it. So I think it would be very possible, that I, or anyone else, for that matter, may have seen angels and/or demons without knowing it.

I agree with webdoghere, in that I suspect the last answer of "not sure" is the only one one can really be 'sure' of. The others are simply too subjective, in light of Scripture, IMO. For that matter you or I could be 'empowered' by the Holy Spirit to be an "angel" (messenger) to someone, and that would not contradict Scripture, either. And the term "guardian ange' is used often. I'm not sure that is exactly Scriptural, but have not studied that either, so would not make a "blanket statement" that they do not exist, or are some other manifestation, such as some person 'appearing' to be such an angel. Assuming they are 'real', I can use all the help I can get.

Lets not forget those who did see and knew they were angels spoken of in the Scripture.

I don't know if this is scriptural, but it is what happened to me.

The night I got saved I literally felt, and saw, a demon and an angel fighting for my soul.

I was in a king-sized bed all alone and the whole bed was shaking and I couldn't move.

I tell others about it whenever I give my testimony.

Needless to say, the angel won when I confessed my sins and gave my life to the Lord.

Rusty Greer never played for the California Angels, nor Anahiem for that matter.

I believe that demons possess people a lot more often than you think and that they are more active today than ever before.

The Bible tells us that we don't fight with flesh and blood, but the principalities and powers of the darkness. That would be satan's evil angelic force.

I think people take demons too lightly, I believe Jan Crouch is a demon and Pat to be demon possessed. But I will also throw several others into that same category, Benny Hinn, Kenneth Copeland, Kenneth Hagin, Kim Clement, Rodney Howard Browne, and this is just to name a few.

I believe there are UFOs and I believe those to be demonic things that people really do see.

There is too much credit given to angels and not enough credit given to demons. I think people are so facinated with angels that they begin worshipping them instead of their Creator. I believe people ignore demons. Am I suggesting you fear them, nope, just merely stating that you need to know they exist.

FTR, there is no such thing as a UFO... once you state something is a UFO, it has been identified and is no longer that which you thought it was:laugh:
