Well then you must be most miserable because you are guilty and will never be cleared but by an abomination to God.When God says punishing the innocent and clearing the guilty are alike abominations to Him, well, I believe Him.
Like when Jesus took the penalty for sin, the curse on Himself.
Galatians 3:13
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
Deuteronomy 22:22-23
And if a man have committed a sin worthy of death, and he be to be put to death, and thou hang him on a tree: His body shall not remain all night upon the tree, but thou shalt in any wise bury him that day; (for he that is hanged is accursed of God
Jesus was arrested. That is what happens to criminals.
Jesus was tried. That is what happens to criminals.
Jesus was executed. That is what happens to criminals.
The execution is the penalty. You know, for criminals.
None of this was because He was a criminal. It was because He gave Himself as a ransom. (A ransom is a payment that happens in an exchange where you give satisfactory payment for usually the life of a hostage)
Jesus is the scapegoat and the sacrifice.
