The link won't work for me. But if this is about him seeking treatment in other countries, he won't be the only one.

I do find it interesting the only good thing you can find about this bill a chance to bash someone you hate. Perhaps you could find his original statement, in context ?

Number one, I don't hate Limbaugh. Number two (there's a lot of "number two" around here), there is much more I like about the bill. It is not what I wanted, but it is a start.

Back on 2000, Alec Baldwin threatened (promised) to leave the country if G W Bush wins the election. He didn't, and I don't think Rush will either.

In my opinion neither of them would be a great loss.

I understood him to say he said he would seek treatment in other countries, not choose another one to live in. That's why you should get his statement off his site.

I bit - and read the link in the OP. Mike and Patrick of Brooklyn are taking donations to buy the ticket for Rush. According to the site, they have collected $1158 for purchase of a plane ticket. (thats means that out of every 258,000 Americans only one gave a one dollar donation )

Now here is the big news, if Rush refuses to accept the ticket, the money will be donated to Planned Parenthood! Yea, these are folks I truly put my trust in.

Personally, I did not hear Rush's "threat", but for those of you who only hear "sound bites" Rush often illustrates absurdity by being absurd. And I think think this was the background of the statement of Rush.
