I think they've come to their senses and reversed their decision.

I'm just doubting the intellectual ability of some of our educators to make common sense decisions on issues like this.

It's alarming how often they fail to use good judgement.

    two things...

All flags were banned, not just Old Glory. Nobody was allowed to wear any flag. (Just as wrong headed, if you ask me, just clarifying)

And carpro is quite correct, the ban has been lifted.

I think this was a completely unnecessary and inappropriate ban to start with and I'm glad these school administrators came to their senses!

I agree... That's like a Church not allowing Bibles.

"The superintendent of schools in Sampson County calls the situation unfortunate, but says educators didn’t want to be forced to pick and choose which flags should be permissible."

So just what country are we in? This is insanity. Pick and choose?

Too many americans are choosing to be neutral. I think in these days and times neutral is no longer an option.

""On the sixth anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks, students at one high school were not allowed to wear clothes with an American flag.""

Bad decision. Just because someone has an American flag shouldn't mean they have to go naked.

In America all National flags are not equal. To ban all flags is to suggest such. And to suggest such is to not be nuetral but to be proactive in diminishing our national identity.

Attempts at being nuetral are often covers for a hidden aganda.
