Is that your interpretation of the words of Jesus in this passage?

"Most religious" isn't at all impressive - do any of the candidates have a true relationship with Christ as their personal Savior? I cannot judge, but their fruits are not convincing. And being more religious than The Donald is a bar easily surmounted by an arthritic cricket.

It must be your interpretation as I have never considered it in that way.

In that case, answer this: If Jesus talking about voluntarily giving to those in need, or about forcing others against their will to give to those in need?

You will find the answer to your question at the final judgment. What do you think Christ's attitude will be toward those who are unwilling to help?

I guess you are afraid to answer the question.

Were the words of Christ promoting Socialism?

I think the politicians that steal your money to buy the votes to stay in power and call it sharing will go straight to hell.

ctb is following the socialists who want to 'give', who cause others to covet what others have, and make them feel entitled to having all they can get. Nothing but lawlessness/breaking God's commands.

In that passage, there is no indication that attitude meant a thing. people either did those things or they didn't. the idea that they ascribe to an ideology that denies there is a God but steals from those who have to give those who have not is going to put them on Jesus' right is ludricous enough to give anyone a loophole who ever paid a dime in taxes.

I find it fascinating how your posts always seem to speak to loving your neighbor as yourself, while those of your detractors always seem to focus on an attitude of not loving, helping, or aiding anyone but self.

Does not doing or not doing indicate an attitude? How can there be doing or not doing with no attitude?

How can there be doing or not doing with no ideology?

What will Christ say at the last judgement when someone says I would not help them as I considered it stealing my riches from me?

Was Jesus ludicrous describing those on the left and those on the right?

So your ludicrous contention is that the government is going to heaven for stealing peoples money to give away to those it thinks deserve it more than those that have it, because they will vote to keep them in office forever...

and those that want to hold onto their own money and share it with those they know are in need are going to hell.

Gotcha. Glad you clarified that for us. Rolleyes

You make illogical statements that do not address the questions. But I am not surprised.

How about answering the questions? It would ba a nice change.

You asking a question that made any kind of sense would be an even nicer change.

But asking coherent questions isn't your forte. Twisting scripture to serve your political ideology is more down your alley.

I've seen a lot of athiests do the same thing.

    By taxation.

    By taxation.

    "Depart from me.........................."

No, but no one seemed to realize they had, or had not, done his list of things, for both groups asked, "When did we see you........" And if you're going to say, "Don't you know I was a socialist," that's not going to cut it.

Zaac, I have to wholeheartedly disagree with your assessment here. See, while you and I have disagrees rather heatedly in the past, I can see that your responses are thought out and consistent.

CTB on the other hand is famous for starting a thread condemning others and then never returning to it. Also, as demonstrated in this very thread, for refusing to answer a question and instead asking a counter question, dodging the original question by demanding an answer to his.

He's denied having the viewpoints others say he has, but will never tell us his own viewpoint on things. A prime example is when asked point blank about abortion, he will respond with something akin to "I'm pro-life for the living, unlike you who condone capital punishment". He never takes a stand except to condemn others viewpoints.

He's inconsistent in many areas. For example, he says anyone who carries a firearm has no faith, that we should let God handle it. Yet he constantly shows a lack of faith by bombarding the board with the current global climate change scare tactic, as if God is able to protect us personally, but not as a planet.

Short story: I can disagree with you and still have respect. But I have no respect for someone who constantly condemns and then deflects. What you see in this thread is not an arbitrary attack of a poster. It's people trying to get him to take a stance somewhere instead of counter question in and wriggling around answers, and erecting strawmen.

Trump wouldn't be possible without Clinton and the ilk of CTB and Zaac.
