Fire Captain Tony Grider passed away Saturday after being injured in the line of duty last month while helping a group of students at Campbellsville University do the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

"He was trying to do a good thing and that's all that matters," Okolona Fire Battalion Chief Jody Craig said.

Capt. Grider is survived by by his wife, Gena, and five children.
