I used to do job interviews, and I did not have pictures of the candidates when reviewing the resumes and choosing who to interview. However, during the interview, appearance would play a part in my evaluation. People of my generation, coming of age in the 1950"s and 60's, were keenly aware of how people of color were discriminated against because they did not have white skin and straight hair. My generation would bend over backwards to give those candidates an even chance. We shared a dream with Doctor King!
