Jesus was feeling the same separation as any lost sinner will experience while in Hell!

Bible staes plainly that Jesus never ceased being either sinless or God while upon that Cross, but also states that he became sin for our sake, the sin bearer, and so suffered in our place the same way we would have if not saved!

Jesus knew that He would have to partake in full the Bowl/cup of wrath God has stored up for sins...

And that is why you really do not see the wrath of God poured out and appeased by Jesus on the Cross!

You are making assumptions. At one time I taught that exact thing. So I do see it, but I see it as wrong. God set forth Jesus as a propitiation and we are redeemed by that blood. You twist that idea to include God being wrathful towards Christ which is not only absent in Scripture but is also contrary to what Scripture says about God.

Do you understand how my view also requires Christ suffer and die?

The wrath of God poured out upon jesus was NOT though upon Jesus Himslf, but due to Him becoming the sin bearer at that moment on the Cross! You seem to have a problem seeing how Jesus remained always sinless and yet had to suffer the punishment from God due us!

    God does not forsake God

If Christ was forsaken, that means we too, could also be forsaken.

Let's start taking the train to the station, folks.

Don't make assumptions. I see exactly what you are saying. And I deny it to be true.

What you don't seem to grasp is that I can understand your view and still disagree with it. That is what I want for you - for you to understand how my view satisfies divine justice so you are able to interact with it.

A lot of people like the song "How deep the Father's love for us" and have imparted it into their theology...

"The Father turns His face away..."

But what does the Holy Writ have to say?

    Psalm 22:24
24 For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard.

Time for another awakening/reformation of our theology.

How are my sins paid for then, if Not be Jesus death in my stead?

Yes, right at the end when jesus cried out, "it is finished", but not while "My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?"

Are you a son of God?

    Will God forsake you?

If He forsook Jesus, what makes you think He won't forsake you?

God was faithful to Jesus, by saving all of us that He chose to get saved by the death of His own Son!

Interesting. Do you know what the Bible says Christ paid for? Do you know what the Bible says happened to our sins?

God was faithful to Jesus, yet forsook Him....Quite the contradiction.

    Synonyms for forsake--abandon, leave, disown.

So, theologically speaking. Would it be more accurate to say, "God did not forsake His Son, therefore He would never forsake us." Or

"God forsook His Son, so he will never forsake us."

Remembered by God no more against us....
Jesus died so that God can be reconciled back with us, and only His death could have made that possible...

Go the Father did not abandon Jesus to the Grave nor to Hell, but did forsake Him while He was the sin bearer upon that Cross!

@Yeshua1 Dear brother, let me suggest to you, as i do for myself as well, start studying the Bible for yourself and stop regurgitating ridiculous statements made by those who believe themselves to be wise.
