    ==I thought so too. When I watch TBN or INSP and I see these hucksters it just saddens me. There are some good preachers out there and those channels would rather show Benny Hinn and such. It makes me angry and sad. What makes it worse is that when I turn on EWTN (the Catholic Channel) I don't see that kind of circus. If the Catholics can keep them off why can't we?

    The RCC has this hierarchy thing going. You want to relieve the believers of their cash, you need the permission of somebody higher up the chain.
    Modern bishops may be (to put it mildly) dangerous fools when it comes to sexual harassment issues, but most of them aren't hucksters.

    Nope. They are just more polished in their scams and the way they present themselves.

    We will all stand before God to give an accounting, but the thought crosses my mind I would rather answer for a bank robbery than using the Church to make a buck. One of the few reasons Jesus showed anger.
