Does anyone know of a program that will display all the registry listings/keys in any given installed program or process.
Say for example: I wanted to remove AOL from a computer, the program I need would show every listing in the registry, making it possible to delete them faster & keep the registry free of junk. I know there are reg. repairs out there, but ALL the ones I've tried always leave something behind, so I still have to do a manual search thru the reg. to make sure everything is gone. Freeware would be great but shareware or buying would be worth it if it works! Thanks!!

go to start then run then type in regedit in the box and click on OK. Be very careful what you delete.

I use Privace Eraser and RegScrubXp. Both excellent programs.

Last I heard, RegScrubXp was still free!

OK thanks folks...I've used several types of cleaners , even one behind another to compare what is removed, & as I said I've yet to find one that removes every listing, even 2 or 3 together.
I go through my regedit on a regular basis, quite comfortable deleting stuff now...& learned a long time ago to keep a backup, just in case!!
I'll check out the RegScrubXP, let ya know.
I just figured in this day there would be a type of monitor program that would display this info but haven't found one yat. I tried Process Explorer but it mainly shows DLL threads associated with running programs & not the reg.
    I'll keep hunting too!!

    It is also free.

You may want to download RegCompact to defrag your registry.
