    This is a slight diversion from the OP, but I'm curious. Of those of you who are pastors, would you accept a call from a church where 25% of the members didn't want you?

    Tom, I'm glad you asked that question.

    During our question and answer session my mom who is the church secretary asked him this question. Past pastors have said as low as 90-95 percent but he said he will go along with whatever the church Constitution says. He said a lot more including implying that those of us who weren't voting for him weren't in the will of God. :rolleyes:

    What's sad is the numbers didn't add up. I wish I could say that some of the deacons were completely honest (I know at least one of them were honest) didn't skew the vote but this isn't the first time something like this happened. :(
