    Wow! There were some pretty specific issues in there far aside from essentials. The words "are you in any way sympathetic" trouble me.

    This reminds me of an application that I got for a local Baptist School. This one went in the garbage and still the headmaster called. When I told him that I couldn't commit to reading only the KJV and didn't see a thing wrong with social media used the right way, he all but hung up on me.

    True but there are better ways of doing that then sending out inane questionnaires that many of the respondents will LIE on anyways- ask me how I know!

    You are right.
    This is why I don’t use them.

    When I receive a call from a missionary on deputation, who is wanting to come to my Church to present his field and ask for support, I ALWAYS, tell him to call me back in 14 days, so that I can pray about it. (And the Lord had never let me down.)

    At some point, over the next two weeks, as I am praying and asking the Lord if I should let this person fill my pulpit, the Lord has always let me know.

    Therefore the disaster of post #57, has never happened in my Church.

    SERIOUSLY???? Oh man, we could have SO much fun with that. Oh so much fun. Of course that fun would have us eternally banned from that church but it would make for a good laugh!

    That's exactly how I feel. I can't imagine having anyone into a church that you don't know. I'm thinking through all the guest speakers we've ever had since I've been at this church and all of them are people that one of the pastors know pretty well if not very well.

    Again, I ask how they have judged you. You have yet to answer me. I could post something about my preferences and what I believe the bible to teach on a website and if you went on there and read why I wrote I'd be judging you? Please, that is ridiculous.

    I am talking about the disaster of casting doubt on God’s Word, from the pulpit.

    That, perhaps, they are judging EVERYONE. Every time I find ONE bunch of Christians that think they alone have the handle on God and our proper response to God, I start running in the other direction as fast as I can, for that is nothing more than a cult.

    I'm not Ann, but they are PRE-judging people that they have never met and most likely will have to spend eternity with.
