    One of the three companies I have worked for in the AEC industry did work in New York (as well as all over the world), but the few projects to which I was assigned to support were a mess.

    AEC = Architecture, Engineering, and Construction

    Both. However, even as a former employee, I am not allowed to talk about projects. Much of it was infrastructure (security concerns) or military/government projects (classified).

    I can get not being involved in secular politics by Scripture. No Christian truly believes otherwise, IMHO. Scripture is too clear on the issue. The problem is some want to justify sin.

    And some do.

    The Bible tells us not to become entangled in the affairs of the World. Yet many Christians do exactly that.
    The Bible tell us that the World is at odds with God. Yet many Christians turn to the worldly systems to solve worldly problems.
    The Bible tells that Christians who befriend the world are committing adultery. So many Christians are doing this as we post.
    The Bible tells us that the powers of the World are anti-Christ. Yet many Christians join in these powers, willingly.

    Sometimes the seed falls among the thorns.
