    So...you feel that after we have this guy on tape trying to sell the senate seat...it's just fine for him to appoint someone to fill it?

    Please tell me you just haven't kept up with this story...

    rbell, this is the same liberal philosophy that wants to keep people accused of child molestation in contact with kids...

    Innocent until proven guilty..

    Let's pretend here...

    Suppose you are a pastor,

    One of your Sunday School teachers has been arrested for child molestation...
    Would you keep him in as a SS teacher?

    A good pastor would suspend him... at least until the trial....

    The same principle applies here..
    At least suspend his power until the trial...
