think many within the Church feel same way, that somehow we MUST accept current 'scientific facts" concerning evolution and other stuff, as heaven forbid actually hold a literal view of an inspired bible!

Science means to know. God is the ALL-KNOWING. Science is an attempt to explain the ALL-KNOWING and they don't even acknowledge it.

he has his own self defined grid lock/mindset, and only the Lord Himself can make Him see the truth!

 

If you don't embrace truth there is no third option but many lies to hide behind. One of Gods judgment is giving them up to a lie.

 

It depends on whether or not God used daylight savings time after He said let there be light.

 

Or if he was using the "one day as a thousand years" one!

Anyone thinking that defending the faith by proclaiming God as the creator of life is not effective please go to Acts 17. Paul disputed & preached the religious, the stoics, the philosophers in the Areopagus. Read v. 16-34. At the very end the Word says some believed.

So in that audience we have no idea who is listening to Ken Ham's pointing to scripture to support God as the author of life, as the author of our Moral code and as who's words we should believe. Then the Holy Spirit will work in the hearts of those who will come to believe maybe not that day, but some day. It's a process. Many Christians point to a time in their life where they look back in the mirror & see the hand of God bringing them to salvation, albeit a journey for most.
