I have seen the Jesus Camp video advertised on Netflix but I have not watched it. From the clip, apparantly they are reporting on Pentecostal/Charismatic churches. There are cultish elements of manipulation and mind control within these movements.
some of my kin in the Philippines are in the full gospel camp. one tried to "exorcise" heavy rain which caused a flood in which their car got into and of course water flooded the carburetor. This was in the 80's. Failing that, she then turned to the car and commanded it "in Jesus' name" to start.
then one time she tried to raise the dead back to life.
