Infiltrating the BB

My biggest problem would be someone of another faith trying to explain how someone can receive eternal life. As Baptists, many of us here belong to churches or have varying convictions regarding issues of personal preference. Some of the standards for membership vary between our churches. Although they are different, from what I've seen, they are not issues that are detrimental in terms of our true salvation. BUT, and, I may be completly wrong about this, it just seems to me that we all pretty much agree on HOW we receive eternal life.
If I were an unsaved person looking for answers here, I have seen a couple of members in particular that there is no doubt in my mind, could serve as Satan's tool for deceiving me. When they come forth spouting all this knowledge of theology and history and can quote and reference many individuals of which support their theories....it can be deceiving. I hope that most can discern these people from christians based on the fact that for the most part these individuals will quote MANY authors of books inspired by MAN...you don't see a whole lot of them shouting the word of GOD! Kind of proves the theory that there really IS a difference between Knowledge and Wisdom.

 

I am sorry, but I keep getting aggravated at seeing certain people post in this section and every other Baptist section when they not only admit that they are not Baptist, they also know what our posting policies are.

I love this board because I can come here and actually get people who will discuss the Word with you. You will actually find people who will back up what they say with scripture and you can get past the doctrinal debates that have been going on for ages and actually get into the meat of the Word. When I want other opinions I go to the other religions section or other message boards. It does get rather frustrating to never get a biblical answer to your questions. I have reasons I love this Message Board (It is my favorite!) and I would love to see it stay the way that it is.

Let me clarify if I may please, are Non-Baptist members allowed to post in any forum as long as they are not discussing "doctrine" or they are supposed to refrain from posting in any forum except the Free For All ones?
