This story was on Fox News Channel this morning. All I can do is weep & weep & pray the Lord protects these hungry rag tag Iraqi troops from the Butcher of Baghdad until such time as we can liberate them. If he finds out who they are, he will kill them. [IMG]

Meanwhile, as the wicked, sanctimonious, self-serving, self-righteous, hypocritical UN Security Council sits in judgment of the United States & our few allies like the Blessed Brits, more people are suffering, tortured, and slaughtered day after day. How tragic. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Something's really off. A dozen poorly armed Iraqi soldiers not even trying to hide because they're giving up get through a fortified, secured border and suprise the soon to be enemy? And then get sent back so they can wait until the war starts and the soldiers could try to kill as many as possible and then surrender at the proper time? Let me guess, there will be no retaliation against them for trying to surrender?
Uh-uh, nope. Something's wrong with that picture.

Were they fed before they were sent back to come fight later? [IMG]
So we feel bad if they're hungry, but we don't feel bad if we bomb and kill them.
    Curiouser and curiouser!

One of the biggest hesitations I have about the situation is that I sense (and observe) a HUGE amount of deception. I expect it from places like Iraq but when it seems to be piled high by our own government and media, it gives me the creeps.

There seem to be far more deceptive comments and "reports" than straight-forward truth.

That is a sad story. I am so fortunate to be me, not them. Thank you God.

It would be a good thing if the plight of many of the Iraqi people was highlited in the media rather than the Right and the Left punching each other up.
