My point exactly! Heresy - stake burning , get it? ;)

    #1 If the shoe fits...

#2 Are you really going to start on the ole stereotypical supporting with scripture argument already, I mean neither of us have even made an argument needing proof-text yet, try not to jump the gun with your standard comeback list, eh?

Actually this is not true. You have come back with the position that Arminianism is not heresy. So back it up. Show from Scripture how it is biblical.

    Great!

In my opinion, unbiblical teaching of any kind is heresy so yes, Calvinism, in my opinion, is heresy.

See how stupidly offensive that looks along with your denial of the meaning?!

You called Calvinism a heresy. Ok, the problem is that it is actually in Scripture. Arminianism, is not. Granted you can say the same thing. But I also think that is what @Reformed is trying to get at by differentiating between big H and little h.

That being said, there is also nothing in the rules about calling people a heretic if I had done that. I looked it up.

Furthermore, I have not said, and am in no way saying, that Arminians cannot be Christians. Do I believe they are misguided in their soteriology? Absolutely. In fact, I believe they are flat ignoring Scripture. But I also believe the same thing about Presbyterians and infant baptism.

First you must come with the position that Calvinism is not heresy. So back it up. Show from Scripture how it is biblical.

Calvinism is not the subject of this thread.

You may think you can get away with such behavior but I think the rule is covered and have seen people get the boot for resorting to debating that way - whether or not they play semantics with little and big H's.

Again, I did not call any single person here a heretic. Would I get booted from the board for calling Arianism a heresy?

Wow, you really have trouble getting the point don't you. You asked me to prove a negative. Would you actually respond to the kind of argument you just gave - that I just threw back at you to show you how juvenile it was?! Maybe you should get a real job besides hanging out on the BB teaching us about Calvinism and heretical Arminianism. ??

Again with ad hominem. What is wrong with you people? Are you not able to have a genuine discussion? Is your theological feelings that fragile that as soon as someone challenges them, or in this case, asks a question, you have to pounce like rabid wolves?

Unless you think it would be acceptable for others to begin arguments by calling "Calvinism" heretical then you have no defensive of your behavior.

The better thing to do is get a grip and stop doing it.

By definition (heresy is unbiblical teaching) people here call Calvinism heresy every day.
