The biggest problems we have would be that we are information-rich and commitment-poor in Christ. There are gifted and talented people in all of our churches. But we know all about the stories in the Bible and the doctrines of the Bible but we can't devote some of our time to evangelize the area.

We have a big commitment problem in our Christian lives. The reason missionaries don't stay for more than one term, they don't stay committed, things aren't exactly going how they thought they should. The reason why churches don't reach out and evangelize, they aren't committed in the cause of Christ.

There are some who are but, I forget the numbers but it was in the 95-99% range of people who have never lead a soul to Christ. We are too comfortable in our lifestyle to reach out to others. We fear rejection and ridicule. What if Paul had given up after he has to flee the first city or Barnabas was too busy to take some time to talk to Paul about his meeting with Jesus. Then we might not have half of the NT.

If we as Christians were to realize our purpose in life, and were to reach out like we were suppose to and disciple as we are suppose to. Our world could be reached with the Gospel.

There are 1.5 billion people in China, 1.3 billion have never heard the Gospel once. If you say that we need 1 million new churches to reach 100-300 million people, then if we could have the same freedom in China we need 10 million churches. Which it would be hard to impossible to have a church running 100 in China (in most places) In reality China needs about 100-130 million churches, seeing that most churches don't have more than a dozen people in them.

The problem is not having the amount of churches or people. It is a clear problem with the heart of the people in the churches. If we have people become more committed to Christ and His work. then we could reach this world as we should.
