    I understand you. I understand that you will keep fighting no matter how many people show you your error. I understand that you hold a view that is contrary to the overall Christian community and very close to gnosticism.

    Maybe because the Bible itself calls Himself that?

    @SavedByGrace,

    The Son of God was always the Son beside God and was God too. Also.known as the Word, John 1:1-2.

    In the incarnation the Son became a real man and in doing so did not cease to be God too. John 3:13 KJV.

    What changed? That Son was God, that did not change. But how the Son being not God was with God changed. John 1:1-3, John 1:14. 1 Timothy 2:5.

    simply put, The Word of God, Himself Almighty God, coequal with God the Father and God the Holy Spirit, Who has existed from all eternity, together with The Father and Holy Spirit, BECAME what He was not before, when He was "Conceived" in the womb of the Virgin Mary, taking from her His "human nature", a REAL Man, though remaining to be Almighty God, in the "nature" of God. The One Person Who walked this earth, was BOTH fully God and fully Man, except for any sin, the GOD-MAN. The clearest passage for this is Philippians 2:5-8; though it is also taught in John 1:1, 14, and 1 Timothy 3:16, in the Original reading with "GOD".

    The Son is begotten of the Father, yet no beginning or end. (I say the following for SBG's sake: This has nothing to do with the Virgin Birth. Nothing.) He did not become the Son. He is the eternal Son, as the Father is the Eternal Father.

    One of the reasons I preferred the KJV, though some of its passages are difficult for me, is that Philipians says in the KJV that Jesus "made himself of no reputation", whereas the modern translations say He "emptied himself and became nothing", which to my mind is heresy, which is why just now I returned to the KJV, and not only because of this alone, but because of numerous others issues pertaining to modern Bibles, and because their language in quality is inferior, the KJV perfect in sound and thought.

    I do not thoroughly understand it, but the things in that Bible I understand, and even the things I don't, I also believe to be the Word of God, the modern Bibles often contradicting them.

    the Greek, "ἑαυτὸν ἐκένωσεν", literally means, "Himself emptied". The reading "made himself of no reputation" is theology!

    Careful there.

    [Psa 2:12 KJV] 12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish [from] the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed [are] all they that put their trust in him.

    If the word of the Father was eternally begotten from and by Him, how does that make Jesus less than the father?

    The Bible says in the book of John that "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God". We know that the Word is Jesus Christ; this signifies Jesus is God.

    True, but why would him being eternally begotten make him less than that, as some seem to fear it does?

    some who don't understand their Bible, have this notion, that God the Father is the "Primary" Person in the Holy Trinity, and Jesus Christ is "Secondary". This is heretical teaching, from the devil!
