Can anyone actually prove any of this or have conspiracy theories suddenly become all the rage here now because Russia and Iran might be involved?
My conspiracy theory says neither are involved. Both are hurting over this.

That is the common American opinion from the media who seek to ignore that the real target is Iran because the media still has a slobbering love affair with Obama. Obama has no intentions of doing anything to stop Iran. Obama is a liar.

Stop Iran from what ?

Lol, from the horse's (Saudis) mouth:

why are saudis lowering oil price?

OPEC out to kill the fracking industry

The glut is hurting everyone in the oil business in some way, but the Saudis have openly declared that the target is the shale industry.

(hey, I thought you were the one that is supposed to have all the conspiracy theories... :) )

Can ya narrow it down some I don't have the time today to go through a million pages of opinion pieces and allegations made by no name "officials". Thanks. :)

That's weird isn't it? I guess I'd be more credible if were a neocon telling Americans every country that refuses to join the new economic world order or telling Washington and the EU to quit giving them orders and mind their own business is conspiring against us because they hate our freedoms.

You need to get with the program. Obama changed the name of Jews to "donors."

From obtaining a nuke bomb given that they are a terrorist state.

People don't want to deal with the fact that Iran now has ICBMs capable of reaching NYC and they are moving along on their construction of the atomic bomb. The only weapon the impotent Saudis have is to lower the price of oil and try to inflict economic damage on Iran.

I wonder why no one wants to discuss an Iranian atomic bomb?

 Your program makes Erich Von Daniken sound more credible by the day.

We have discussed it.

A. We judge with high confidence that in fall 2003, Tehran halted its nuclear weapons
program

1; we also assess with moderate-to-high confidence that Tehran at a minimum is
keeping open the option to develop nuclear weapons. We judge with high confidence
that the halt, and Tehran’s announcement of its decision to suspend its declared uranium
enrichment program and sign an Additional Protocol to its Nuclear Non-Proliferation
Treaty Safeguards Agreement, was directed primarily in response to increasing
international scrutiny and pressure resulting from exposure of Iran’s previously
undeclared nuclear work.

• We assess with high confidence that until fall 2003, Iranian military entities were
working under government direction to develop nuclear weapons.

• We judge with high confidence that the halt lasted at least several years. (Because of
intelligence gaps discussed elsewhere in this Estimate, however, DOE and the NIC
assess with only moderate confidence that the halt to those activities represents a halt
to Iran's entire nuclear weapons program.)

• We assess with moderate confidence Tehran had not restarted its nuclear weapons
program as of mid-2007, but we do not know whether it currently intends to develop
nuclear weapons.

• We continue to assess with moderate-to-high confidence that Iran does not currently
have a nuclear weapon.

• Tehran’s decision to halt its nuclear weapons program suggests it is less determined
to develop nuclear weapons than we have been judging since 2005. Our assessment
that the program probably was halted primarily in response to international pressure
suggests Iran may be more vulnerable to influence on the issue than we judged
previously.

B. We continue to assess with low confidence that Iran probably has imported at least
some weapons-usable fissile material, but still judge with moderate-to-high confidence it
has not obtained enough for a nuclear weapon. We cannot rule out that Iran has acquired
from abroad—or will acquire in the future—a nuclear weapon or enough fissile material
for a weapon. Barring such acquisitions, if Iran wants to have nuclear weapons it would
need to produce sufficient amounts of fissile material indigenously—which we judge
with high confidence it has not yet done.

But you refuse to hear or see any evidence that doesn't support your deep seeded fears and the neocon's many unfounded allegations.

From obtaining a nuke bomb given that they are a terrorist state.

Nuclear armed Washington and it's ally Saudi Arabia support countless head chopping Christian murdering terrorists in the middle east and north Africa so your statement here just makes you look hypocritical.

But what's new right?

Excellent article on this:

Saudi Arabia's $750 Billion Bet Drives Brent Oil Below $54

"...A flood of new oil from U.S. shale producers and Canadian tar sands companies coupled with softening demand from China may have set the stage, but Saudi Arabia is now firmly driving the process that has seen oil prices plunge in a matter of months. Starting in October, Saudi Arabia indicated to global markets that it would not materially cut production alone and would restrain itself from cutting production unless other major oil producing countries also joined in such an effort....."

"....“The Saudis are putting the heat on everybody and you don’t need to parse it out and say they are really putting the heat on Iran or they are really putting the heat on shale or Russia,” says Gause. “They have decided that given the current market situation they are not going to cut until others cut and all sorts of players are going to feel the sting on that.”

Still, the key for the Saudis could be Vladimir Putin and Russia. The Wall Street Journal did some very interesting reporting right before the end of the year, showing the efforts that Saudi Arabia recently made to get non-OPEC producers like Russia to cooperate in oil production cuts. Saudi Oil Minister Ali al-Naimi tried to get Russia to agree to production cuts in late November, but Russia made it clear it was unwilling to do so, The Wall Street Journal reported. “Russia is the hardest nut to crack,” says Gause."

I think the Armageddon maniacs are waaaaay out in far right field....

So as a Preterist, you don't care if Iran has the atomic bomb and you don't think that it affects you in Kentucky anyway and therefore you agree with Obama in this particular case?

....and you have a waaaay overactive paranoid imagination. No one wants Iran to have nuclear weapons. IMO, if they're dead set on acquiring nuclear weapons nothing short of a full scale invasion and occupation is going to stop it, unless of course that action triggered WW 3, and that would kinda defeat the purpose, now wouldn't it?

Stop throwing Preterism around like it's what drives my logic, because it doesn't. But it does spare me from being sucked into the doomsday dementia that has gripped the dispies.

He can't help himself. The "guilt by association" fallacy is all he has left to throw at us when he can't prove his fears are justified or his accusations are true.

The neocon meme was predicted by George Orwell in 1949. "WAR IS PEACE" "FREEDOM IS SLAVERY" "IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH"

"A hideous ecstasy of fear and vindictiveness, a desire to kill, to torture, to smash faces in with a sledgehammer, seemed to flow through the whole group of people like an electric current, turning one even against one's will into a grimacing, screaming lunatic." Part 1, Chapter 1, pg. 16

"the consciousness of being at war, and therefore in danger, makes the handing-over of all power to a small caste seem the natural, unavoidable condition of survival." Part 2, Chapter 9, pg. 192
