Is the Advanced Search Function Broken?

I tried an advanced search yesterday and got an error message: "The Following Error Occurred: The search could not be completed. Please try again later." I tried an advanced search again today and got the same error message.

I had a three word search term and a username as the search parameters. I was using the Search Everything tab, but I also tried the Search Threads and Posts option. Same error message.

However, if I type in the three word search term in the basic search box at the upper right hand corner of this page (basic search box is on almost every page of this site) I get results. In fact, just about any search term yields results from the basic search box. It seems it's only when you get to the advanced search page there is a problem.

For example, if I type in coronavirus in the basic search box I get results. Now, if I click on the Advanced Search link just below the magnifying glass on the search window and then click on the Search button, I get the error message.

So, it appears the Advanced Search function is broken.
