Black people make up 13%of the population. But they want to be as influential as those who make up larger portions of the population. If they do not then they blame it on systemic racism. It is flawed thinking and placing blame where it doe not need to be.

No, but if I were to proclaim that I was going to only shop at white owned businesses, period, I'd be called a racist. It's ok for there to be the "100 Black Men of Said City." But, let there be the "100 White Men" and it's racist. I call it a double standard.

"racism" is by definition a belief in the inherent superiority of one race over another. So no...this isn't.

However, the problem isn't with racism, per se. It is the double standard that accompanies the behavior in the article. If folks want to buy from their own race, then fine. But all people can do it...and for blacks or hispanics to do it is the same as whites or asians doing it.

Of course, my opinion is that if you whine about "equality," then put your money where your mouth is. If your "equality" complaints have merit, then you should employ the Golden Rule approach.

Of course, if you are a professional victim, do what you want...
