I'm not disagreeing with you about us being low on missiles at all. I was referring as to why Iran was willing to agree to the MOU and then why they resumed attacks. Biden began depleting our munitions supplies by giving so many to Ukraine along with billions of dollars. Trump campaigned in 2024 stating as president Ukraine would get no more money or weapons from us. He lied as he continued to do both. There's no doubt in my mind Trump was pushing or the MOU for the same reasons Iran accepted—to resupply.

China has a larger arsenal now than the US. They can resupply Iran a lot faster than our defense contractors can resupply us. Now that we have given Israel millions of dollars that must be spent on buying weapons and munitions from US defense contractors, we're having to compete with Israel in replenishing our own arsenal. We can't resupply ourselves as quickly as China can resupply Iran.

Trump made a huge miscalculation when he started this war with Iran. He lied when he gave his reasons for the attack, just as he did for his attack on Venezuela. The real reason for both is the oil. Oil prices are going up and US oil companies are profiting from this the most. Not as much oil is coming out of the Persian Gulf countries right now.
