    Thanks all. I couldn't afford anything expensive. All I really needed was a compact SUV, so I researched the safest and most reliable of the most affordable. Since I am a GM person and this car kept coming up on various lists - consumer's guide, etc.... I bought it.

    I traded my Jimmy in and was sad to see it go, but it was time. It just kept needing unnecessary repairs that were too costly for a car that old. Everytime something came up, it was just money down the drain. Money that I really didn't have.

    It ain't a cool car like my Jimmy, but it's a highly safe car and gets GREAT gas mileage.
