Jeb Bush exposed 13,000 social security numbers

Oh, oh!!! This is not good.

Earlier this week, former Florida governor Jeb Bush released online a cache of emails sent and received by his personal email address during his time in office. His attempt at transparency turned sour after it was realized that some emails contained personally identifiable information of Floridians, including social security numbers, names, and dates of birth.

Todd Feinman, CEO of data protection firm Identity Finder, ran an analysis of the data and determined that nearly 13,000 unique social security numbers were released. His software, which uses natural language processing to identify sensitive information through contextual clues, found that about 12,500 of those were contained in a spreadsheet embedded in a PowerPoint slide attached to an email dated October 2003.

Regarding the thread title....thank you very much for the mental image of Jeb Bush pulling his pants down in a Social Security office's file room. Yep, thanks.

Don't blame me, the title of the thread comes from the title of the article. Guess you didn't check that.

I do not know everyone's political ideals here, but Jeb Bush falls into the same liberal Republican camp as every Presidential nominee since Reagan. For the token liberal, Jeb Bush, McCain, Mitch McConnell, Bush the 2nd, Bush the First might as well be Democrats. Crabby, I can only assume you are a fellow conservative for putting the Bush name up to ridicule. Oh and that goes for Mitt Romney also. Fox news is a master at making liberal Republicans look like conservatives.

I wouldn't call those Republicans liberals, but they weren't true conservatives.

Otherwise, you're spot on. Well, except for this:

Crabby, I can only assume you are a fellow conservative for putting the Bush name up to ridicule.

Crabby is far, far from conservative!

American, I am a true, old-time conservative. I have not sold out to the modern conservatism [the selfish, self-righteous conservatism] ... which isn't really conservative ... that is so dead set on helping the rich and hurting the middle class and poor.

Many here are too young to know what traditional true conservatism is all about ... sad to say. :tear:

Nope, I will not argue with the knee-jerk response this reply will receive.

Well, time will tell to me what political persuasion Crabby is. I do know this however. If you voted for Romney in 2012 you voted for a man that belongs to one of the most dangerous cults in America except maybe Islam. The LDS denies the divinity of Christ and that Christ is God. They put the Book of Mormon above Scripture. They like so many others, practice a works basis for salvation. If you voted for Romney, you voted for a man who while governor of Mass. implemented government run health care, supported gun control, was pro same sex rights, and did nothing to stop abortion. Saying he is better than Obama is not true and is a pathetic excuse. There were plenty of third party candidates.

American, I am a true, old-time conservative. ...

Crabby, here is the Platform of the Conservative Party of NY- Which parts do you agree/disagree?
The main headings are:

I.....Constitution
II....Debt
III...Health Care
IV...Right to Bear Arms
V....Immigration
VI...Moral Issues
VII..Education
VIII..Energy
IX....Environment
X.....English
XI....Religion
XII...Legal System
XIII..Foreign Affairs/National Security

A couple notes about the CPNY
1) We are on Line C for Elections (based on # of votes for Governor Election)
2) NY has the Fusion voting Law
3) Due to the Fusion law -No Republican has won statewide office in New York without Conservative Party support since 1974.
4) In 1970, James Buckley won the US Senate seat solely on the Conservative line when the Republicans put up an extremely liberal candidate against the Democrat opponent.
5) One of the founders of the CPNY was Charles Edison -, a Democrat - son of inventor Thomas Edison
6) The CPNY was founded due to the liberalism of the State Republican Party - aka Gov Nelson Rockefeller

Interested to see these myself. Thank you for the non-knee jerk response. Crabby's answers should be interesting.

You are new here so let me help you out. Crabby is no where near a conservative. He is a Neomarxist. His only means to resolve issues is to rely on government and bring people into control for the greater good. He supports only neo marxists politicans and he loves organizations like Plannedparenthood. He denies supporting abortion but supports the organizations that do wholeheartedly and suggests the bible claims life only begins at birth.

He is full of typical liberal double speak. He gets angry very easily. The content of his posts by and large lack any truth and only seek to promote the government control

CTB is not a conservative, regardless of what he claims. Review his posts about politics and social issues.

Well Crabby it sounds like you are quite the liberal the way your fellow posters paint you. We are miles apart, because I consider Bush, McCain, Romney, and Crispy Cream Christy to be in the same camp as Clinton and Obama. I consider the last legitimate President Ronald Reagan.
