(Elizabeth, West Virginia-AP) -- Private First Class
Jessica Lynch has thanked "everyone who hoped and prayed" for her
    safe return from Iraq.
In her first public statement, the 20-year-old former P-O-W
addressed well-wishers from a wheelchair after being flown home
    to West Virginia.
Her brother, Army Specialist Greg Lynch, confirmed that
family members and many in the town of Palestine had prayed
following word of her capture in an attack that killed eleven of
    her fellow soldiers.
West Virginia Governor Bob Wise noted that a church in
Palestine posted a sign that said "God is still in the business
    of making miracles."
Wise added, "One of His miracles has come home to the
    mountains today."
Lynch said she's proud to be in the Army, but added "it
hurts" that some of her fellow soldiers didn't make it back
    alive.

I saw her in todays paper, It is good to see her home safe and well. I think that many people should consider those who did not make it back. As the Bible says, Greater love hath no man than to lay down his life for his friends.
