Few are likely to be more affected by one-time presidential hopeful John Edwards' bombshell admission to being the father of Rielle Hunter's toddler than his three other children.

In a statement today, Edwards wrote, "I am Quinn's father." He was referring to Frances Quinn, Hunter's little girl who is now nearly 2 years old.

"I will do everything in my power to provide her with the love and support she deserves," said Edwards. " To all those I have disappointed and hurt, these words will never be enough, but I am truly sorry.

Nope. I always wondered why denying it did him any good. He admitted a liason with Ms. Hunter. The end result of that could be a child. What was he thinking? I am glad he did not make it to The White House. His message was appealing. The messenger would be a distraction.
