    If they are public figures in this country, you can stay whatever you please and the law is helpless. That is the reason that Dems are saying whatever they please. Dems are never nice people anymore. As FDR's grandfather Delano said, "Not all Democrats are horse thieves, but all horse thieves are Democrats."

    Yeah from what I understand, so long as they claim they're quoting a "source" they're in the clear. That's why all these books cite unnamed sources.

    Sometimes, though, lawsuits prevail. I'm sure if Trump sees an opportunity, he'll sue. If any president would, he would.

    It is harder to prove libel on a public figure, but has been done. Most recently, "Hulk Hogan" won a libel suit.
