    So what happens when a state violates their citizens Constitutional Rights?

    So states were within their rights to pass literacy tests for voters, segregated bathrooms in public places and prohibit colored people from owning land ... because they could petition for change or move to another state?

    I just want to make sure that I really understand how serious you are about Local Soverignty.

    The incorporation doctrine was used to justify making same-sex marriage legal nationwide. There is a constitutional process to make policy apply nationwide - amending the Constitution.
