He now has an extremely hard road ahead of him. If you read about their prisons unless the person has money they are in serious trouble. Hopefully it will cause him to look upward and receive the Lord.

Apparently he has been able to purchase a 41" flat-screen tv, buy drugs, enjoy 'visits' from women and judging by the size of his stomach hanging over his pants, he isn't missing many meals. Money buys a lot of priviliges in Peruvian prisons. Apparently he can be out on parole in nine or ten years. At least then he has to face probable extradition to the U.S.

He has plenty of people sending him money, including a women physician in Florida who was willing to put up as much as $75,000 for bail.

He has a very cushy mattress in his cell, something that even prisoners in the U.S. do not enjoy. He also is interacting with other high profile prisoners (drug lords and the like) in the weight room, during recreation and even has a job of making rosaries in his cell that he gets paid for.
