    So what happened at this "routine" traffic stop?

    Reminds me of my boss, when I was a driving instructor - when teaching his 5 hour pre-licensing coruse,
    he would mention that on a Friday afternoon a high school teacher was leaving the school parking lot. As she pulled onto the street- - without her seat belt - and yes a LEO was close by. While writing a ticket - he smelled something - yep - illegal drugs! Poor teacher - that sure messed up her weekend - not to mention a few years after that!
