Good gravy, man! How many women has Trump slept with? How many adulterous affairs has he had? And conservatives declare that a non-issue. I guarantee you Trump has Harris beat by a very long mile.

You aren't really making her sex life a reason not to vote for her/Biden?

I'm not voting for the pair, but it has nothing to do with whom she has sex with.

    To get ahead? None.

Yes, just about everyone thinks personal failings, for the most part, are a non-issue. Do you denounce MLK for his indiscretions?

As a Christian, I don't look for past perfection, but current direction.

No, it's not her sex life, per se. But using sex to get ahead, is offensive to many women. I see it as a negative, because it casts doubts on one's competency, if I'm looking for someone competent.

I am surprised you have missed an important distinction regarding repentance and defending the Christian faith...

Is this what it is going to be like between now and the election? Blaming, shaming the woman about sex and therefore she is out on that regard alone?

And coming to the defense of Trump and his sexual sins?

See ya'll after the election. I should have never started this thread.

You have to remember that it seems like some evangelicals regard Trump as sort of like King David, King Cyrus, King Constantine, and King Charlemagne all wrapped up in one package. :Biggrin

Trump is defending the Christian faith, a good sign of repentance, while Biden wants Islam taught in the schools to young children, and Harris attacks Christian freedoms traditionally allowed the church in the usa.

Thus my reference to some evangelical Trump supporters regarding him as a modern day King Constantine-King Charlemagne combo there. ;)

It is strange that in the last election Trump's character was often declared irrelevant by Christians because of his platform. There were Christians on this board and on this forum who ridiculed a few who considered his character and womanizing a disqualification.

But I have noticed some of the same types of character flaws being held as important when it comes to Harris.

For the record, I voted for and will vote for Trump. But a Trump supporter has no grounds for criticizing a candidate for the same issues Trump had as a candidate.

It is better to stick with the platforms. That is where enough differences rest.

I dont think that all Christians stated that Trumps indescrisians were irrelevant.
Rather what was the recent actionsl
    For myself -
if something has happened in the past 3-5 years - Major problems
If something has happened in the past 4- 9 years Take a second look
if something has happened in the past 6-14 years - give him a break
if something has happened in the past 12+ years - non issue.

Again - how long ago was it?

At this point of time, I do plan on voting for Mr. Trump - in fact I am on the State Commttee and at the End of the month - we are having our State convention for nominations. If I attend, I do plan to vote to Nominate Mr. Trump to run on our Party line.

Basically, I do agree with with you - but again how recent was the events in question.

One other thing- when Bill Clinton affairs came out - that was a major concern to me as
he professed to be born again. and a Southern Baptist.
Now if someone does not claim moral standards - well than that would be a bit different.

I agree with the "not all" part. I do not know how long ago the accusations were.

I never vote for a candidates character because I do not believe I can know their character. So I vote for platforms.

For me the top issue is abortion. If all sides are anti-abortion then I will go to my second issue. I have not decided on a second issue as it has not been necessary.

In my opinion, you have pointed out the major reason for picking her--money--which I had forgotten about until I read your post. She and Pelosi can tap into California ricos for big $$$ for the Dems.

Also, she is popular with suburban white women who are tired of the tweets and favor globalism.

Thanks for your post! With no chance for big rallies, Trump is the underdog in my opinion. Do you think the Dems will pause the riots until after the election?

I don't know. A lot of people have a lot of money invested in China.

One thing for sure, Kamala Harris is more Indian than Elizabeth Warren! :Barefoot

How so... don’t you want moral leadership? Are you saying that moral Christian leadership is not possible in the USA?
