    Ron Paul has never embraced liberalism. His positions are libertarian, not liberal.

    There is a difference.

    I would argue that his pro-choice record is a de facto liberal embrace, but I know you would disagree. He is indeed liberterian on most other issues, being quite sound on many (particularly many fiscal policies).

    I just contributed my $100 for today and got to see my name flash up on the fundraising board at the Ron Paul for President website. The fundraising for the first 36 days of this quarter is now over $6,022,000!

    Remarkable fundraising numbers. However, dollars don't necessarily equal votes. Polling I see still has Paul dead last in the GOP field. He has much to contribute and his voice needs to be heard, and I look forward to hearing him in more debates.

    I'll probably end up voting for him. He is right on the fiscal & border issues, and his foreign policy myopia can be cured with a little reality.
