You all should be happy. You hate unions and union states. You should feel vindicated.
I
do hate how unions have wrecked our country. They are no longer about fair working conditions, as many once were. Now, they are about greed, corruption, intimidation, and doing just as little as one can.
There are lots of fine folks who lost their job over this, and that is sad. But intrusive government and unions are the reason. Why do you think Alabama has several auto plants built, and more on the way? It's because unions and government don't kill business here.
Of course, your mind has been poisoned by union propaganda, and you can no longer think for yourself. I've seen it before. It was the same poisoning that caused men I worked with to slash my tires when I refused to bone up to union demands years ago.
So although I feel sorry for the families without a job, I'm glad the unions got it stuck to them. They deserved it.
Bill, you strike me as the kind of fella that would work side by side with anyone...but if that "friend of yours" crossed your picket line, you'd commence to going after that same "friend" (in whatever manner your union handlers told you to). Tell me I'm not wrong. Would you attack a "scab" if your union handlers told you to?
You are so lacking in knowledge about unions, it's pathetic. I guess it overjoys you that these American workers are now without employment. Maybe some day you will join them in the unemployment lines and see how it feels.
Classy. I miss the old Robert Snow...version 2.0...that wasn't so vitriolic.
I've posted on here several times my union experiences. You see, I've seen and experienced firsthand what unions do to people who disagree with them. And I've seen firsthand what the result can be.
I have a grasp of what unions accomplished in the early days...and there were some positive gains. But it is no longer about "safe working conditions" or "fair wages and benefits" as it is about corruption, greed, and laziness. Examples of all abound.
Next time, read the posts before you engage in such infantile rants and momentous conclusion-jumping. The point was that unions aren't good for business, employment, or workers looking for jobs. And data was given that backs it up. Try and stay with us on the subject...you might learn something.
