Law and Oder (the orginal) ran for 456 episodes over 20 seasons.
It ended its run 12 years ago.
It has just been announced that L&O
    will be coming back.

Will we just see re-hashed programs? - Have we had enough?
Will there be a new twist to the revived program. ?

So what are you thoughts about this revival?

I'm a huge fan of the original. I watch and re-watch episodes even I may have seen them three or four times each.

If it does come back, I hope they will put in some of the old heads as cameos every now and again. That would be awesome.

I always enjoyed L&O - because it show both sides - the police and the court room - and most of all "Perry Mason" did not win every case.

Also there were often all kinds of twists and turns in the plots.

The show ran over twenty years, many of the stories used real cases as background for their story lines.

    Plenty of material remains.

I liked Michael Moriarty as the DA.
