Well of course they don't. ID's are issued free to every person who wants to vote and as along as the requirement is that every person needs one they are non-discriminatory. The left is just using the charge of "voter suppression" to rile their people up.

 

And to make it more difficult to ferret out the illegal votes!!

It has to have some effect on fraud unless the state is issuing numerous IDs to the same person. Here in Indianapolis in Center Township, the Democrats admitted that they were registering elderly ladies under variations of their own names and driving them from precinct on election day to vote under phony addresses. Hopefully, Indiana ID stopped that.

 

It wasn’t a “you” but an article which did not mention the rest of the conclusion. I’d like to read the study to see why they feel it would not reduce voter fraud.

 

The only voters ID laws suppress are illegals and dead people.

 

When I lived in Pa. there is not ID requirement when you vote. I voted in my county at the County Center, and I could have easily gone to other counties and voted at them as well as I was never asked for an ID or voter registration card. I was given a ballot and that was that.

 

Most election fraud is in the area of mail in ballots, voter registration and absentee voting. But voter ID is the place to start. Now that effort has to be extended into the other areas by requiring the same type of IDs plus a birth certificate for voter registration.

 

A lot of people have two or three houses in different states and think that one man one vote does not apply to them and therefore vote illegally in two or more states.
