Liberal hypocrisy? No, it couldn't be!

The John Adams Project is a joint effort by the ACLU and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers to locate, stalk, and photograph covert CIA agents and to show those photographs to terrorist detainees at Guantanamo Bay.

The Justice Department is investigating the John Adams Project. It is a violation of federal law to identify covert CIA agents. An ACLU spokesperson justified the outing of covert CIA agents by claiming that they had been involved in the "torture" of Guantanamo terrorist detainees that
United States of America ACLU lawyers are representing.

All we heard during the Valerie Plame affair was how evil it was to "out" a CIA agent. In fact, at least one man ended up in prison and Democrats threatened to charge the vice president with a myriad of crimes as a result.

And yet, now that multiple agents are being exposed, they're strangely silent on the issue.

Liberals are at it again.

They got a bunch of CIA agents killed in the 70s by releasing their names.

Their thirst for the blood of patriots is undiminished.

isn't this a crime or something, remembering back when someone was arrested for it.
it is treason, and that is illegal.

If a bunch of liberal lawyers, actually the article said 3, can discover, identify, photograph covert agents then the agency is doing a very poor job protecting its agents you can bet your bippy that foreign governments already know who they are. Surely the CIA does a better 'covert' than that.

Then you are excusing the crime?

Not at all. If they are breaking the law they should be held accountable. What I am saying is if the CIA protects it covert agents so poorly that three sleazy lawyers can identify and expose them, then the CIA should either be reorganized or done away with and a new agency formed that can protect its agents.

How long before MP, CBT, and "whoever" start justifying this treason.
Well, your ignorance is once again on display. If this editorial is accurate, I would say the lawyers in question should be tried for treason against the United States. So stop your anticipatory maligning of me. You obviously know nothing.

Also, don't believe everything you read at the site you linked to. Associated Content publishes pieces from anyone. They are no more reliable as a source than any other blog.

MP, there are some who have such tunnel vision you simply have to ignore them. The frantic fringe seems to have nothing much to say other than to try to insult.

The problem IS the CIA along with police officers being paid to lie for the good of the cause and all other spying and lying. Lying is our national policy and then seem confused about politicians lying. We should be confused and surprised when an occasional politician tells the truth.

The Bible story about sending out spies . . . most got it wrong and condemned a zillion people to 40 years in the wilderness.

Poor MP! You can't get anything right. I did not link to any site.

As for maligning you I was simply basing my conclusion on your previous posts.

It is the liberal left that has tunnel vision just like the pinkos and fellow travelers of the Stalin/FDR years.

I am always right. Almost. :) But don't you ever question my love of this country, or you will be most assuredly way off base.

But it was Tractor Boy's link. My bad.
