I understand that you find it irrelevant, but in the sbc church I attended, you must take an in depth series of classes to join that church, where you learn about the SBC & what they stand for. So it isn’t as irrelevant as one might think. I get that not all baptists are sbc affiliated, or some don’t care. For me, if it goes left again this year, the handwriting will be on the wall. I won’t consider an sbc church again.
