    Such an idea would have to be applied to any assistance given to any country other than our own so as not to risk being a hypocrite. And while you may disagree with doing so as a result of an isolationist attitude giving aid and support to other countries so they are not destroyed does not in fact meet the definition of treason.

    Such language appears to be used as a result of inflated and unnecessary emotion rather than sound reason and logic.

    No one turned on him. The voters in the Democratic primary nominated another candidate. That is the democratic process.
