Lifting Out Of Poverty; This is America!

The game of social-welfare is rigged so that poverty can never be eliminated. It's a standard relative to the economy. If poverty was measured by an absolute standard, such as inadequate food and shelter, the problem would be solved.

There are a number of stories about successful people who lived in rooming houses and ate flour and water paste in their beginning years on the way to success.

George Washington Carver left home with a few dollars. He slept under a boardwalk. He walked up to ship's captain and asked for a job unloading cargo. He made enough money to pay for his education, and to provide food and shelter for himself.

He didn't rely on government handouts. He just went and did it. Anyone who avoids sin can do the same. I was disabled for a few years, living on 650.00 per month. I went to the library each day and studied electrical engineering online. I didn't get drunk, take drugs, fornicate, steal, complain, pity myself, or make excuses.

I invented a novel electronic device. I did three years of research and development to perfect it. And I sell it at 1,500% profit. I just had faith in God's promise in Jeremiah 29. I inspired the design from God. He showed me where to obtain parts that fit together perfectly. He wants men to succeed.

I made a deal with the United States government. I would allow them to keep part of my income in exchange for medical care and a small stipend in the event I was disabled. I can't do construction work anymore. But I made a new career for myself. I can't drive a car. I don't have a cell phone. I can't walk far, because I had part of my foot amputated due to osteomylitis.

I'm blind in one eye (ischemic neuropathy). I have cirrhosis from viral hepatitis, which I contracted while giving first aid to an ex-drug-addict worker on a construction site. I come from a broken home with an atheist father. I always hated school. I wanted to play ball with my friends instead.

I became a construction worker without much education. But did I let any of that stop me? Did I throw in the towel? NO! Because I live in the greatest nation on earth! I was at liberty to make something of myself, no matter how disadvantaged I was. I didn't look at it as being disadvantaged. I saw it as an opportunity for God and me to do something together; to create together!

Now I sell my products in 45 countries. All I had to do was believe! Anyone can do what I did. This is America! No one is disadvantaged! If people want to escape poverty, they can do it, because this is America!

Liberals want to take away from everyone what this nation gave to me. I think that's a terrible thing to do. Those who plot such wickedness shall reap death as their reward.
