Limbaugh Falls for Obama Thesis Hoax

Apologize? No.
I happened to hear the segment in question and Rush more than one time said that he was trying to find a second source for the report and was unable to do so... and for that reason was not assuming that it was true.
All of the out of context quotes that you will no doubt be able find from that segment where Rush then talking about Dan Rather and his forged Bush document and how the Obama thesis story would sound using the Dan Rather standard - "the documents are forged but I know it's true so I'm going to use them anyway."
Then he used it to tweak the noses of the main stream media that reported ficticious quotes attributed to Rush recently in order to deny him his participation in the purchase of the football team.
So... apologize for what?
BTW - is this just another of your drive by threads or are you actually going to participate in this one?

Just posting a news story and ask a question. What is there to participate in further ... after all Limbaugh is simply an overweight entertainer and not to be taken seriously.
What does his being overweight have to do with anything? And is he overweight to begin with? I just saw a picture of him the other day and he didn't look overweight at all.
What's the point in posting a news story if you do not plan to participate in the discussion?
Everyone here has internet access - obviously. We can look at articles all day long - and not just the ones that you find on the homepage of AOL.
If you are aware that it was entertainment and not to be taken seriously why did you take it seriously?

Actually, he has lost a considerable amount of weight lately. Not that you care about facts.
Second, he has acknowledged that this was a hoax, on his show. Not that you care about facts.
But in the vein of your thread, should you apologize for saying Bush was my jero ? Should you apologize for calling me a bigot ? I mean, why is it OK for you to spread ill will, and not Rush ?
: I'm also told that the blog containing the passage on Obama's thesis is a satire blog. So it's one of these sites like ScrappleFace or The Onion or some such thing. So I shout from the mountaintops: "It was satire!" But we know he thinks it. Good comedy, to be comedy, must contain an element of truth, and we know how he feels about distribution of wealth. He's mad at the courts for not going far enough on it. So we stand by the fabricated quote because we know Obama thinks it anyway. That's how it works in the media today.

Whoa there, Crabby. I'm calling you out for this one because surely you are above such stupidity.
Why bring attention to Rush's size? Why does that matter to you? I seriously doubt you would let another poster get by with showing prejudice like this for a person's skin color or level of education. It's hypocritical of you and I'm disappointed that you would stoop that low.
I guess you have bought into the libbie mindset that overweight people are inferior and should be treated with disdain. If you dislike Rush or disagree with him, at least stick with the facts of WHAT HE DID OR SAID instead of pointing out his size.
Yep, he did, so at this point, it's a nonissue, imo.

But CTB should apologize for knowingly posting a lie, the same thing he accused Limbaugh of.

Of course, to the liberal mind it's only CONSERVATIVE overweight people who should be treated that way. Being a good liberal always wipes away a person's every sin and imperfection in the minds of fellow liberals.
